  • District Cub Camp 2017 Our medieval mid-summer cub camp was a magnificent affair.  The King and Queen graced us with their presence, as did the sun.  Have a look!

  • Brooklands Museum 2017 As part of their Air Activities badge, the Cubs visited Brooklands Museum in Weybridge.  What a fantastic time we had!  "Flying" on Concorde and "racing" in Lewis Hamilton's car were a few of the things that we got up to, have a look.

  • Day Hike 2017 We came out in force for the District Day Hike with great success as we romped home in record time.  A lovely day enjoyed by both Cubs and parents.

  • Cubs Centenary 2016 To celebrate 100 years of Cub Scouts, Esher District installed a Totem Pole at Polyapes Camp Site which was unveiled at the District Cub Activity Afternoon.  The Totem Pole is not meant to look like a Native American totem pole but is modern in its design. It depicts the history, the experiences and fun of Cub Scouts from Esher District and will be a lasting legacy to the next generations of Esher Cubs and something of a wonder to look at while at Polyapes Campsite.

Cub Pack News

  • Cub of the Camp 2017 William Wheeler was astounded when he was awarded this but not so the Camp Leaders.  He was helpful and enthusiastic, throwing himself into all the activities with gusto (even the dreaded washing up).  He gets to keep the trophy for a whole year.

  • J E Matthews Award 2017 This year, it was the Leaders' unanimous decision that the award would go to Max Stuttard.  Despite not being in Cubs for long, he is keen to show the younger Cubs the ropes and gives encouragement all the way.  Well done Max!

  • Cub of the Camp 2016 This year the award goes to Matthew Jonkergouw, who listened to all the instructions given to him and carried out all the task that were given to him and his team (even when there was something better going on).  Matthew gets to keep the trophy for a year giving it pride of place in his room.
