J E Matthews Award 2015

posted 13 Jul 2015, 12:24 by Carole Needham

The J E Matthews Award is a new award which wil be given by Rev. Phillip Johnson each year to a deserving member of each section.  J E Matthews was the Vicar who started the original troop and there used to be a prize (although not in his name) awarded to the scout who had showed the most promise and development throughout the year.  This year, the award was presented to Max Llewellyn.   Congratulations Max!

And then there were six!

Our magnificent 5 a side football team who made a tremendous effort in the Esher District football tournament.  They were awarded runners up after narrowly losing 2-1 in the final to 2nd Molesey.

What an excellent achievement!
