Scouts

Welcome to the Troop

The Troop meets on a Monday from 7:30 - 9:00

It is quite important not to be late as we may go off premises for the evening.

As we are quite an active troop, the meetings are not always in the same place!

Make a note of where we meet each week by looking at your programme.

The Troop consists of patrols of up to eight boys, led by a Patrol Leader (PL)

and aided by the Assistant Patrol Leader (APL).

Subs are due termly - currently set at £30

Please fill in a Gift Aid form if you haven't already done so -

we get a huge 28p for every pound you give.

Scout Uniform
Scouts are expected to wear the scout shirt, scout trousers and belt

as well as our scarlet group scarf and woggle to every meeting

(unless otherwise advised - see your programme!);

For Church Parades, investitures, etc. you should wear full uniform & polished shoes.

You will be reminded when full uniform is required.

You will be given a Group scarf and woggle when you are invested,

if you haven't already got one.

Scout Rules
1. During flag break and flag down, Scouts will stand in formation,

still, quiet and calm until dismissed from formation.
This is a fundamental and important part of the Scout evening at which time

basic information needs to be conveyed to the scouts before proceeding further.

2. No scout will leave the hall/area in use without permission from a leader.

3. Any bullying or persistent teasing will not be tolerated.

If you feel you are being bullied or persistently teased please tell a leader.

4. Play fighting/bundling is not allowed at scouts.
